Elegant and relaxing

Cruise took place on newest ship in Ha Long Bay. Elegant accommodations. Two days is actually one day in Ha Long. Hanoi pickup is followed by 2 hour plus bus trip to Ha Long Bay, with stop at oyster farm/pearl gift shop. Then comes small boat trip from Ha Long to cruise ship. First event is small boat to another dock, then long bus ride to cave. After cave is ride back then small boat to ship, then dinner. Cruise ship relocates to another site, about 3 miles away. Next morning is opportunity for short kayak ride, then ship relocates to original spot. Departure from Ha Long Bay is following morning, followed by two hour ride back to Hanoi, with stop at inevitable gift shop, which is huge. The beauty of Ha Long Bay is stunning. Food on ship is good.
